Draw & Guess
One player draws a secret word on a shared canvas. Everyone else types their guesses as fast as they can.
How a round plays out
On your turn you pick one of three words and start sketching with a simple set of brushes, colours, a fill bucket, an eraser and undo. Everyone else sees the drawing appear stroke by stroke and races to type the word. A few letters are revealed over time as hints. The turn ends when everyone has guessed it or the clock runs out, then it rotates to the next player.
Private rooms or public lobbies
Create a private room and share the code with friends, or drop into a public lobby with whoever is online. A match is a set number of rounds — you choose two to five — and everyone draws once per round.
Works on any device
The canvas scales to phones, tablets and laptops, and drawings sync live to every player. No app, no account, no cost.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can play?
Up to eight players in one room. You need at least two to play, and it is more fun with a full lobby.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone. Create a room, share the code, and start drawing.
How does scoring work?
Guessers earn more points the faster they get the word; the person drawing earns a share of every correct guess. Wrong guesses stay private — only “X guessed the word” and a private “close!” hint are shown.
Where do the words come from?
A curated list of around 250 everyday, family-friendly words that are actually drawable. The drawer picks one of three each turn.
Is there a chat?
No open chat — just a guess field. It keeps rounds fast and friendly.
Is it like skribbl.io?
If you enjoy that style of draw-and-guess party game, yes — same core loop, built in NameThat’s look with private and public rooms, timed turns and letter hints.
